sorcerer's apprentice

Hello every one. I have been working on this story with a teacher and other kids as well. Here it is

Leo Lewis

My version of  ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’

Not so long ago, there lived a quite crazy inventor. He made the weirdest inventions that no-one could copy because they were too complicated. One of them was the Zumtubber. It could do backflips for days while making Goody Goody Gumdrops ice cream.

The problem was that there were rats. Little drops of icecream were everywhere because when the Zumtubber flipped, it exploded. Apart from the icecream and rats, there were tubes and frames scattered all over the concrete floor. The sorcererer was so frustrated with the insane mess, that he couldn’t get over it. He needed to find a way to make his workshop tidy.

“Oh what am I going to do?” he said to himself. “This mess will just get worse. I need to build myself a robot that can help me keep this place tidy.” Just at that very moment, a bacteria eating robot smashed the door down into millions of bits. It sucked up all of the plans and robots, and evaporated into thin air.

The Sorcerer quickly strapped on his jetpack and left via the smashed door. He knew that Bacteria Robot was heading for the lake because he would want to wash everything, to get rid of the bugs.  The Sorcerer knew that his parts were going to rust with the water so he had to stop Bacteria Robot before he got to the lake.

Luckily Bacteria Robot started to slow down about halfway to the lake. There was so much weight in the sack and the robot was not programmed to run, so his battery slowly died.

When the Sorcerer caught up, a tug of war went down. The Sorcerer won of course. Then he sprinted home so that he could get to work on his invention.

He threw sheets of paper onto the desk and started designing this marvellous robot. He got an extremely hot fire ready and started to create all the different parts and put them together. Finally he put all the technical parts together.

“ Come to life my metal head,” the Sorcerer said.
The apprentice robot jumped to life and got to work. Finally it was time for the Sorcerer to go to bed.

Not long after he left, the apprentice robot came across the plan of himself on the back wall. He got to work and made another robot to do the work. When he had finished he charged it. But the second robot made another robot and then that robot made another. Well, you get it, there were lots of robots in the end.

In the morning, the Sorcerer went downstairs into his workshop to find an army of robots. All of them turned around to see him. They tried to kill him, but he sprinted to the power switch and turned them all off. Everything went quiet.  then he went to the tv room where the metal head robot was watching tv then he turned around. ‘Oh no master I have made a mess’ ‘it’s ok came on I will go and make you a hot cup of oil and I will have a hot chocolate’’ ‘ya’’.
